The Celtic Knot

Melanie & Arthur
St Mary's Palmerston Place, followed by Prestonfield House Hotel, Edinburgh

From our first meeting with these two (them on their sofa, us on ours) we knew this was going to be a special wedding.

Travelling all the way from America to Scotland to tie the knot, Melanie and Arthur are up for adventure (even when it meant battling wind and rain to capture a photograph in front of Arthur’s Seat – had to be done!)

Melanie and Arthur we hope you had a ball on the rest of your wedding travels.

Here is a taster of the day you said ‘I Do’

I know you think that’s a comment but it’s not exactly saying anything. Why don’t you try writing something better and ideally informative. I mean, gosh.

      I’m with you on that

Real Life Wedding: Hopetoun House

25 May 2024

Hopetoun House is magical pretty much most days. But the day of Nic and Oli’s wedding it seemed to have an extra layer of something. Perhaps it was the weather (impeccably behaved for once), or the sweet sound of laughter on the breeze, or just the general vibe of all things extraordinarily perfect…

Real Life Wedding: Dunglass Estate

06 April 2024

Alex and Molly are the kind of people who embrace life and all it throws at them. Including what we can only be described as the windiest wedding I think we’ve ever been at (think winds of 50 mph – enough to take out huge stone planters) And the result was a wedding day that was even more magical that anyone could have imagined.

Real Life Wedding: Drumtochty Castle

03 April 2024

Their spring wedding was beautiful in spite of the rain (think one of the wettest days ever). Actually it was a little more beautiful because of the rain. As family and friends dashed for cover under mutlicloured brollies there were smile, giggles and lot of togetherness. And what could be better than cosying up in Drumtochty Castle as the wood burners crackle?
