Alie was just fantastic throughout the whole process - she was incredibly accommodating which was very valuable given we had people coming from all over and I keep getting more and more feedback form the team about how at ease she made them feel and how happy they are with the photos. We would absolutely use Blue Sky again and have already made sure they are ready for when our team expands next!

We hosted an international advertising industry conference in Edinburgh in early September with roughly 100 attendees from all over Europe, and Blue Sky Photography was our official commercial photographer partner. Niels was an absolute star during the day and a half of the event, amazing energy, polite, discreet and proffessional. Great crowd control skills for large group photos during the conference, and especially during the evening part of the event at the Edinburgh Castle. But the best part came when the photos arrived - fantastic quality, amazing angles, very proffessional hi end look. As one of our members said on seeing the images - “even on photographs side you have just set the highest benchmark for all future conferences”. I don't know where to start! I had read a lot about regrets of a bride after the wedding and one of them was not investing properly in photographs - they are your only lasting reminder of your day. From the moment that I spoke with Alie, I knew she would capture my dream wedding in the exact way that I was imagining; she loved my themes and my ideas and worked with me on them. Alie was in constant contact from booking, up to the day, throughout the day and after. On the day, when we were introduced to Neils too and we knew instantly we were in safe, professional hands. Not only are the team amazing on their own, they are explosive when they are together. Everyone was constantly saying how amazing and funny they were! Alie kept my nerves calm throughout the wedding morning and I couldn't thank her more for that!And, I haven't even got to the photos! They are just incredible, when I look at them, I am reminded of the exact moments - Alie and Neils made taking each photo into a loving memory. The photo quality is outstanding. Neils got the wedding party looking dapper and instilled confidence in them to deliver some incredible shots!I can not recommend this lovely team highly enough.Thank you so much.

Would highly recommend! Alie was really friendly, and very professional. She talked me through the process of taking the photo really well, and the results looked amazing. Fantastic experience! We had our first family photos with our daughter. She had a blast and the whole experience was fun and easy. Selecting the photos we wanted was the hardest part, but Alie provided great insight and did not push us at all. Will be going back 100%. My daughter still points at the studio every time we walk by.

Absolutely fantastic photographer - we’ve used them twice for newborn photo shoots when our kids were just two weeks old, and they made us feel so at ease, and relaxed to feed, change, cuddle in amongst the photos. Their new studios at Chesser are brilliant, plenty of parking, all on one level so great for accessibility, and the coffee and shortbread was delicious! Photo quality is fantastic, choice of framing options is brilliant, and I’ve recommended them to lots of friends or bought shoots as gifts for other new parents. Neils & Alie make you feel so welcome, wouldn’t use any other photographer - thank you guys!

I would honestly give Blue Sky 100 stars if I could. Over 8 years ago we met Blue Sky and it was love at first meeting! We knew then they were the perfect people to photograph our wedding. Fast forward to now and when we needed a photographer for a family portrait to celebrate a 60th and there really was no other choice. We had the best time, there was so much laughter. It was lovely meeting up with Alie again. Not only a talented photographer but just a genuinely beautiful person. Now I need an excuse for another photoshoot!

I went to Blue Sky Photography because I needed some commercial head shots that were much more professional than just a selfie. I “hate having my photo taken” but Sarah made it a fun and relaxing experience, taking the time to understand what I needed and to find the right lighting, angles and background. Took my son to Blue Sky Photography to have photos taken for his first birthday. The photoshoot itself was very relaxed and Alie was so welcoming! The photos have turned out better than I could have imagined- they are beautiful and have totally captured our little boy’s personality! I know that we will treasure them for years to come! Absolutely fantastic. First, having the pictures taken was a real pleasure - not a chore or 'to do list' item as anticipated. Alie made the experience fun, easy, and enjoyable. Everything about being here is great - it's welcoming, relaxing (who would have thought?) and peaceful in a beautiful studio with caring, kind professionals. The final result? Pictures I LOVE and provide the natural look I was after. I am extremely grateful. Top score! High fives! Cartwheels and handstands! And. . . not necessary to add but here we go. . We had our family photos taken at Blue Sky Photography studio back in October 2022.The photographer Alie was amazing and very accommodating throughout the session. There was a room next to the studio where we can first sit down and relax a bit before/after/during the session. There are some toys for our 2 year old boy to keep him occupied, and we could use this room to get him changed and give him snacks etc.The studio is simple, but spacious, bright and airy. We were looking for simple family photos so it was perfect for us. Alie took the time and offered to take different combinations of photos; we never felt rushed or running out of time.We went back to the studio to review the photos a couple of weeks later. Alie had already selected best photos, which made us easy to pick and choose. Again Alie let us take our time to choose the photos we want to purchase, we never felt the pressure to purchase their products etc. We were very happy with how photos came out, and the whole process has been very professional yet very homely experience.It was a great family day and a great experience together as a family. I would definitely come back for more family photos in the future!

We've had a few photo-shoots with Blue Sky Photography and it's one of the best moves we made for the business. They have injected life into our products which has made a huge difference to the look and style of the website. We're not local so we've shipped the majority of our products to them and they have done a remote shoot for us and followed our brief. We have been lucky enough to go up to Edinburgh for one shoot so far and it was absolutely fantastic. It was so nice to meet the team and help them in action. Can't recommend them enough! Absolutely lovely experience. First off, location is ideal, free parking and accessible on the ground floor and the studio is gorgeous! The shoot was such a lovely time, Alie created a really chilled environment and created images that are so natural and don't feel posed. We got a great mix of newborn pictures and family ones too. After we were invited back to view the images and choose ones we liked. This was super relaxed and good fun looking through all the images. Absolutely delighted with the prints we purchased!

It's difficult to put into words just how good Blue Sky are at what they do. Alie and Niels photographed our wedding and did an amazing job at every stage of the process - friends and family still talk about just how good they were over 2 years later.Everything about the planning and prep was carefully considered (we felt so supported) but also really fun. They acutely understand the stresses involved in arranging a wedding and actively reduced that for us because they were such a pleasure to work with! On the day itself, they went above and beyond, ensuring every shot we wanted was covered, making everyone feel super relaxed and comfortable during the posed pictures and even arranging the odd taxi when some planned transport fell through. They balanced incredible professionalism with energy and genuine enthusiasm and the final results were fantastic.They are super photographers and super people - you will not regret working with them, guaranteed!

Fantastic experience from start to finish for our newborn shoot. Shoot itself was so relaxed and fun for mum, dad and baby. We were really put at ease and couldn't have been in better hands, professional but so friendly and welcoming. The follow up session to select our prints really helped us feel happy in our choices. Delighted with the shots, completely captured the personality of our wee guy in a natural way. Cannot recommend Blue Sky enough.

I was at a wedding photographed by Alie and Niels recently and they are amazing!They were seamless in their coverage of the day, capturing so many little moments as well as the main photos. They really brought everyone out of their shells, even people who were a little shy in front of the camera.Both Alie and Niels had an incredible "can-do" attitude and brought the best vibes. They were flexible when schedules changed, and made the most of some unexpected downtime too, getting in extra details shots and generally just being fab and helping out. They were so much fun, bringing the organisation and energy needed for group photos, but then melting into the background for more relaxed/candid photos.Cannot recommend these two fab people enough. Alie & Niels are such warm, welcoming people who have always ensured we have the best experience in the studio, even with our little girl and dog! We always feel so relaxed! My wife had a significant birthday recently and requested that we have our photographs taken along with four of our close friends on the day of her birthday. Alie at Blue Sky made the whole process extremely easy. She really helped us to get into the swing of things in the studio and made sure we were relaxed and having fun (helped by a little champagne which she encouraged us to take along!). The photos we finally chose really captured our personalities and show just how much we enjoyed ourselves. The session just flew by and we all left for the birthday lunch in high spirits and with huge grins. Alie is a consummate professional and really fun to be with. We first met with Blue Sky in 2019 when we were planning our wedding. Within 5 minutes of meeting with Alie and Neils we were so excited for them to shoot our wedding! They have positive, infectious personalities that make them stand out from everyone else. They shot our engagement photoshoot and then 2 years later our Wedding day and most recently, a photoshoot of our newborn daughter!They were amazing on the lead up to and on our wedding day! Having two photographers on the day was fab as they really captured every moment, for both of us. They work so well together and bring great energy to your wedding day! Its pretty rare to get wedding photographers you want to hang out with on your wedding day as much as your friends and family!!Everytime we met with Alie and Neils they had a way of always making us feel so special. Almost as if we were their only clients. From sending us personalised hand written cards, to creating an idealic experience to view our photos and selecting our album.
