Niels was an absolute star during the day and a half of the event, amazing energy, polite, discreet and professional. Great crowd control skills for large group photos during the conference, and especially during the evening part of the event at the Edinburgh Castle. The Blue Sky Photography approach is unobtrusive and documentary-led, focusing on capturing real moments as they happen—key speakers, candid interactions, atmosphere, branding and important highlights—without disrupting the flow of the event.

Yes. Blue Sky Photography’s event work involves corporate clients, agencies and brands who need professional imagery for internal communications, PR, marketing and social media.

Coverage can range from a couple of hours to full-day or multi-day events depending on your requirements. Timings will be confirmed in advance based on the event schedule and key moments that need to be captured.

We can travel anywhere within Scotland. Mileage is charged from the studio postcode of EH14 1RL to the location of your event.  For events requiring significant travel, late finishes, or early starts, overnight accommodation may be required and will be discussed during booking.

Yes. A shot list or schedule can be provided in advance so key speakers, awards, sponsors, branding and VIP guests are prioritised where needed.

You’ll receive a curated gallery of professionally edited, high-resolution images covering key moments, atmosphere, branding, and candid interactions. Images are suitable for press, marketing, websites, and social media.

Turnaround times depend on the event, but selected highlight images can often be delivered quickly for same-day or next-day use if required, with the full edited gallery delivered shortly after.

Yes. All selected images are professionally edited for colour, lighting, and clarity while maintaining a natural and authentic documentary feel. If full Photoshopping is required, this can be added onto your option for payment of an additional fee. 

Pricing depends on the duration of coverage, type of event, and delivery requirements. Coverage begins at £180 per hour +VAT. 

Absolutely no event is too small. Coverage is available for everything from intimate private gatherings to large-scale conferences and multi-room corporate events.

Yes. Images are licensed for use across PR, press releases, websites, internal communications, and social media. 

Bookings are made in advance where possible to ensure studio availability. A discovery call and helps confirm event details, timing, key priorities and deliverables before securing the date.
