The Goosebump List: the best Scottish wedding venues imaginable

A few of Blue Sky Photography’s favourite Scottish wedding venues

We have lots of favourite Scottish wedding venues. Fifteen plus years of shooting weddings have seen us invited us to some seriously amazing weddings. We’ve shot in rustic barns, Highland Castles, glittering five star hotels, exclusive use venues and private estates across Scotland.

We’ve selected some of the many, many places we’ve shot at over these years and have created the Blue Sky Photography goosebump list. Think of them a bit like some of our all time favourite wedding venues.

Not to blow our own trumpet too loudly, but all of these venues also rate us as preferred photographers – this means that they know us and trust us enough to recommend us directly to their brides and grooms.  We think that’s kind of a big deal.

You pick the place, drop us a line and we’ll be by your side.

Real Life Wedding: Dunglass Estate

Real Life Wedding: Drumtochty Castle

03 April 2024

Their spring wedding was beautiful in spite of the rain (think one of the wettest days ever). Actually it was a little more beautiful because of the rain. As family and friends dashed for cover under mutlicloured brollies there were smile, giggles and lot of togetherness. And what could be better than cosying up in Drumtochty Castle as the wood burners crackle?
