There’s something magical about winter in Edinburgh. The city comes alive with the winter wonderland, making there no better place to be at this time of year. So Lynsey and Johnny’s wedding at St Giles Cathedral and then The Balmoral Hotel, both beautiful spots in the heart of the city centre, was just perfect. Lynsey and Johnny love The Balmoral and we completely share that love. At Christmas it comes alive…
We had so much fun with these two, who are so relaxed and completely together in everything. What can we say about Lynsey’s dress? Ah-ma-zing! It’s already getting some Facebook love. Lynsey you looked absolutely stunning and one of our highlights was your arrival with the sea of onlookers outside St Giles Cathedral. It just looks like a Royal Wedding. And little Abby waving to the crowd – the cheer that went up from everyone was brilliant!
We loved that not even the wild wind bothered you two and you were still up for some outside shots. You were a dream to photograph. Added to that we had a fantastic time working with the Cherry Tree Duo of Steve and Stuart and the outstanding chauffeur service from Yvonne. Thank you Mrs T x
Lynsey and Johnny, here are some of our highlights from your beautifully elegant winter wedding. Thank you for letting us tell your story – what a privilege!
Looking forward to catching-up and hearing all about NYC.

Hopetoun House is magical pretty much most days. But the day of Nic and Oli’s wedding it seemed to have an extra layer of something. Perhaps it was the weather (impeccably behaved for once), or the sweet sound of laughter on the breeze, or just the general vibe of all things extraordinarily perfect…
Alex and Molly are the kind of people who embrace life and all it throws at them. Including what we can only be described as the windiest wedding I think we’ve ever been at (think winds of 50 mph – enough to take out huge stone planters) And the result was a wedding day that was even more magical that anyone could have imagined.
Their spring wedding was beautiful in spite of the rain (think one of the wettest days ever). Actually it was a little more beautiful because of the rain. As family and friends dashed for cover under mutlicloured brollies there were smile, giggles and lot of togetherness. And what could be better than cosying up in Drumtochty Castle as the wood burners crackle?
