The Best Scottish Wedding venues imaginable… Archerfield House & Archerfield Waterfront
Welcome to Archerfield House & Waterfront, one of our favourite wedding venues on our Goosebump List (The Blue Sky Photography list of some of our favourite wedding venues). Think stately home meets luxury boat club chic, and you’ll understand the vibe.
Archerfield House and Archerfield Waterfront are special places for lots of reasons. Let’s begin with the enviable location: the Archerfield Estate sits right on the water and has the most incredible ocean views. Then? You are spoilt for choice in terms of which space to use.
Intimate weddings may like to use Archerfield House itself – with the backdrop of the spectacular drawing room or decadent dining room. Or larger affairs may prefer the Waterfront options and flexibility those spaces give.
Blend this with the plentiful (and luxurious!) onsite accommodation and the use of spa and golf facilities and you’ll start to see why have a soft spot for Archerfield.

Real Life Wedding: Athelstaneford Parish Church, followed by Archerfield, East Lothian
Abby and Ben what a day your wedding was! It was everything you planned and so much more, A day tramping (delicately) across poppy fields, orchards and climbing rocks for epic coastal panorama views. A day where Jenson was dog of the day and where dancing was so next level even the worm came out (yes there is photographic evidence!)
Real Life Wedding: Aberlady Parish Church, followed by Archerfield House and Waterfront
Archerfield House and Waterfront was the perfect venue for Amy and James’ wedding celebrations. We met this pair way back in Spring and knew instantly we were going to have a blast with them. The fact that they both have smiles that could light up any room, and they don’t take themselves too seriously, makes them a lot of fun to hang out with. Family and friends clearly mean everything to them, with Granny Diana a much loved guest of honour.
