Just be you

Sophie & Callum

Real Life Wedding: Archerfield House and Waterfront, East Lothian

Archerfield House and Waterfront weddings are the most incredible mix of glorious Scottish country estate meets New England wedding dreams. You are always guaranteed to be treated to fabulous surroundings and brilliant hospitality. Sophie and Callum’s wedding had all of that and then some.

Nothing (not even crazy weather, or Sophie’s wedding dress catching on fire) could have stood in the way of these two having the time of their lives. Music was a big part of their wedding, from the brilliant Clanadonia, complete with impromptu ceilidh dancing from the guests, through to the jam-packed dancefloor.

Thank you Mr and Mrs Paterson for being up for dancing in the sun and embracing all things wind and rain. We loved that neither of you could stop smiling all day. You two make a superb team (along of course with the gorgeous Bonnie and Rollo)

Here’s a glimpse of the magic that was your wedding day. Enjoy!

#BigBlueSkyLove,

Alie & Niels xx

Real Life Wedding: Hopetoun House

25 May 2024

Hopetoun House is magical pretty much most days. But the day of Nic and Oli’s wedding it seemed to have an extra layer of something. Perhaps it was the weather (impeccably behaved for once), or the sweet sound of laughter on the breeze, or just the general vibe of all things extraordinarily perfect…

Real Life Wedding: Dunglass Estate

06 April 2024

Alex and Molly are the kind of people who embrace life and all it throws at them. Including what we can only be described as the windiest wedding I think we’ve ever been at (think winds of 50 mph – enough to take out huge stone planters) And the result was a wedding day that was even more magical that anyone could have imagined.

Real Life Wedding: Drumtochty Castle

03 April 2024

Their spring wedding was beautiful in spite of the rain (think one of the wettest days ever). Actually it was a little more beautiful because of the rain. As family and friends dashed for cover under mutlicloured brollies there were smile, giggles and lot of togetherness. And what could be better than cosying up in Drumtochty Castle as the wood burners crackle?
