A Love Story

Beth & Chris

Real Life Wedding: Signet Library

Beth and Chris’ wedding at The Signet Library was a day all about celebrating their wedding with their favourite people.

From the minute we jumped on a call with this pair we knew their easy-going nature was going to result in day that was designed with their guests in mind. And it was entirely. It would have been impossible to have been a part of this wedding and not feel a little bit spoilt.

Beth and Chris thank you for being a dream to photograph (and hang out with). Here’s a few of our highlights of a day that was as relaxed as it was joyful.

Signet Library Weddings

Signet Library weddings are the one of a kind. Partying in a library is so wrong and yet so right. Stunning, sophisticated and yet so wonderfully relaxed, it’s the kind of space you’ll not want to leave. Your guests will be wowed by the downstairs library… until they are transported up the magnificent staircase to the upper library. And from then on the party is literally next level. Fact.

Real Life Wedding: Hopetoun House

25 May 2024

Hopetoun House is magical pretty much most days. But the day of Nic and Oli’s wedding it seemed to have an extra layer of something. Perhaps it was the weather (impeccably behaved for once), or the sweet sound of laughter on the breeze, or just the general vibe of all things extraordinarily perfect…

Real Life Wedding: Dunglass Estate

06 April 2024

Alex and Molly are the kind of people who embrace life and all it throws at them. Including what we can only be described as the windiest wedding I think we’ve ever been at (think winds of 50 mph – enough to take out huge stone planters) And the result was a wedding day that was even more magical that anyone could have imagined.

Real Life Wedding: Drumtochty Castle

03 April 2024

Their spring wedding was beautiful in spite of the rain (think one of the wettest days ever). Actually it was a little more beautiful because of the rain. As family and friends dashed for cover under mutlicloured brollies there were smile, giggles and lot of togetherness. And what could be better than cosying up in Drumtochty Castle as the wood burners crackle?
