From Edinburgh, with love

Lauren & Douglas

Real Life Wedding: Signet Library

The Signet Library was the perfect place to bring together family and friends from all over the world. For Lauren and Doug it was even more incredible than they imagined, with everyone they love celebrating with them on the most glorious sunny day. Edinburgh was showing off bigtime.

Lauren and Doug are the best kind of people: kind, genuine, self-deprecating and filled with a warmth that leaves you feeling like you’ve known them for years.

Thank you Lauren and Doug for letting us tell your wedding story. It was exactly as you described it: emotional, meaningful and timeless. We love that you didn’t stop smiling all day.

Special mention to the bridal team who were just fabulous. From Steph (who did the best job of not saying anything nice to Lauren all day – a trick to reduce tears which proved hilarious!), the boys and of course Angus and Charlotte who were top flower girl and pageboy.

Here’s a teaser for now. Can’t wait to share all with you.

#BigBlueSkyLove,

Alie & Niels xx

"“We have to particularly mention the PHENOMENAL flowers - they were totally magical and although again we knew they were happening, to see it in person was just the most wonderful surprise because they completely exceeded all expectations!”

Signet Library Weddings

Signet Library weddings are the one of a kind. Partying in a library is so wrong and yet so right. Stunning, sophisticated and yet so wonderfully relaxed, it’s the kind of space you’ll not want to leave. Your guests will be wowed by the downstairs library… until they are transported up the magnificent staircase to the upper library. And from then on the party is literally next level. Fact.

Real Life Wedding: Dundas Castle

14 October 2023

Thinking back to our first meeting with Katie and David (which was also at Dundas Castle) one of the things we loved most about this pair was how much they laughed and smiled together. And it was exactly the same on their wedding day… from walking through their avalanche of confetti to holding tight to each other on the top of a very windy roof of Dundas, these two are for each other. Every step of the way.

Real Life Wedding: Signet Library

30 September 2023

Beth and Chris’ wedding at The Signet Library was a day all about celebrating with their favourite people

From the minute we jumped on a call with this pair we knew their easy-going nature was going to result in day that was designed with their guests in mind.

Real Life Wedding: Aberlady Parish Church, followed by Archerfield House and Waterfront

23 September 2023

Archerfield House and Waterfront was the perfect venue for Amy and James’ wedding celebrations. We met this pair way back in Spring and knew instantly we were going to have a blast with them. The fact that they both have smiles that could light up any room, and they don’t take themselves too seriously, makes them a lot of fun to hang out with. Family and friends clearly mean everything to them, with Granny Diana a much loved guest of honour.
