Pitlochry is a dreamy spot for a Scottish wedding. It sits right in the middle of the county, is surrounded by hills (specifically two of Scotland’s highest mountains Ben Vrackie and Schiehallion) and nestled in acres of glorious forrest. It also happens to be Alex’s family home so having a wedding party here was the perfect plan.
From our very first chat with Alice and Alex they described their wedding day as being the party they always wanted to go to. And what a party it was… their guests were spoilt rotten, being wined and dined and entertained by everything from horse and cart rides to a bouncy castle, fairground attractions and Scottish music until the wee small hours.
Alice and Alex what can we say? Everything about your day was filled with fun and laughter. There is no doubt you two make a fantastic team and little E is a treasure. We feel so privileged to have been your wedding photographers. And yes you two absolutely do know how to throw an epic party.
Something tells us your life is going to be jam-packed with adventure.

Katie and Michael’s Mansfield Traquair wedding was all about enjoying every single minute. Which was pretty easy as literally this pair walk into a room and bring the party.
Dundas Castle is always magical at the start of autumn. The trees are on the edge of turning and when you step inside the Castle the smell of the fires welcomes you. For Alice and Daniel September is also a pretty special month as it’s also the month they first met (at Glasgow University fresher’s week).
Beverley and Mark’s Drumtochty Castle wedding was personal and perfect from beginning to end. They had all their favourite people involved (from Stepdad Ross and his brother Charlie conducting the service through to friends playing the organ). Oh and one of the best surprises had to be Mark’s family serenading this pair (we will always think of you when we hear the song Alleluia )
