Sarah & Angus, The Balmoral Hotel, Edinburgh

It had to snow on Sarah and Angus’ wedding day. It’s kind of a family tradition. And amazingly these two managed to arrange that it did – just a little in the morning. But that still counts right?

Despite the snow, Sarah was determined to go up Calton Hill and we loved her style… and bravery – it was verry chilly! But lots of fun…and it made the lovely fires and warmth of The Balmoral Hotel even more appealing.

This was such a fun wedding to be part of as these two are so relaxed with each other and just fit together perfectly.

Guys – thank you for being total stars… soo many highlights. From Angus being an ‘awful’ husband (as if!) through to your no less than two very special first dances – that’s exactly how to do it.

Oh and Scott – there are definitely lots of ‘keepers’.

Enjoy some of our highlights from your stunning wedding day. Can-not wait to hear about your honeymoon. Bet it was out of this world.

See you soon,

Real Life Wedding: Hopetoun House

25 May 2024

Hopetoun House is magical pretty much most days. But the day of Nic and Oli’s wedding it seemed to have an extra layer of something. Perhaps it was the weather (impeccably behaved for once), or the sweet sound of laughter on the breeze, or just the general vibe of all things extraordinarily perfect…

Real Life Wedding: Dunglass Estate

06 April 2024

Alex and Molly are the kind of people who embrace life and all it throws at them. Including what we can only be described as the windiest wedding I think we’ve ever been at (think winds of 50 mph – enough to take out huge stone planters) And the result was a wedding day that was even more magical that anyone could have imagined.

Real Life Wedding: Drumtochty Castle

03 April 2024

Their spring wedding was beautiful in spite of the rain (think one of the wettest days ever). Actually it was a little more beautiful because of the rain. As family and friends dashed for cover under mutlicloured brollies there were smile, giggles and lot of togetherness. And what could be better than cosying up in Drumtochty Castle as the wood burners crackle?
