Ruth & Oliver’s Wedding, Winton House, near Edinburgh

Ruth and Oliver are just fab together and make a great team. Their wedding day was beautifully planned, although we expected nothing less from Ruth. Their wedding was such a great party, timed perfectly just before Christmas.

It was great to be back at Winton House – a top spot for a winter weddings with the smell of wood burning fires greeting you on arrival. It’s the kind of place you want to arrive at and not leave (for a very long time).

Well Mr and Mrs Harker – what can we say? We had so much fun at your ‘house party’ wedding with you and all your friends and family. From your ceremony through to your emotion-packed and very, very funny speeches, you put so much of yourselves into the day. Although it was sad that Archie the dachshund couldn’t be there in person, we were delighted to see his likeness created in the form of your wedding cake. Have you eaten the dogs heads yet?!

Thank you for letting us share in the day you became Mr and Mrs. Here are some of our highlights. Really looking forward to sharing them all with you.

Real Life Wedding: Dundas Castle

14 September 2024

Dundas Castle is always magical at the start of autumn. The trees are on the edge of turning and when you step inside the Castle the smell of the fires welcomes you. For Alice and Daniel September is also a pretty special month as it’s also the month they first met (at Glasgow University fresher’s week).

Real Life Wedding: Drumtochty Castle

17 August 2024

Beverley and Mark’s Drumtochty Castle wedding was personal and perfect from beginning to end. They had all their favourite people involved (from Stepdad Ross and his brother Charlie conducting the service through to friends playing the organ). Oh and one of the best surprises had to be Mark’s family serenading this pair (we will always think of you when we hear the song Alleluia )
