Rosebery Steading weddings are a bit of a hidden secret.
It’s the new Edinburgh wedding barn on the scene and we happen to think it’s a triumph.
And let’s face it the same could be said for Fi and Dom’s wedding. Every part of this wedding day was just brill-i-ant. The atmosphere (slight haze from fire pits mixed with a wonderful fresh fog) was so special. Guests milled around the courtyard, laughing and clinking champagne flutes (and later frozen margarita from a margarita truck – who even knew that was a thing. But it should be from now on!)
Everyone was there to celebrate Fi and Dom. And they are the definitely the kind of couple that need to be celebrated: kind, funny and oozing with an understated quality that makes everyone else relax around them.
Family were a big part of this day. Big shout out to Sadie, Joni and Oren who handled the day and their individual jobs with so much skill.
One of their highlights (and ours) was all of the guests singing along to the Corrs Runaway (the first dance song of choice of Niels and I!) as a temporary power cut meant improvisation, a portable speaker and a barn filled with all their guests singing their hearts out. It was a special kind of magic that will live long with us, and everyone there.
Thank you, thank you Fi and Dom for picking us. Your wedding day, as you rightly said, was everything you wanted and we couldn’t be more chuffed for you.
Here’s a little glimpse into (some) of the highlights. Look forward to seeing you soon.

Rosebery Steading weddings may be the best thing since… well since barn venues became a thing. Although make no mistake this is a special kind of steading development. You’ll find no sawdust, or uneven floors here. Rosebery is the last word in sublime. If you’re looking for the kind of Edinburgh venue that creates the party everyone will be talking about all year then you may just have found it…

Katie and Michael’s Mansfield Traquair wedding was all about enjoying every single minute. Which was pretty easy as literally this pair walk into a room and bring the party.
Dundas Castle is always magical at the start of autumn. The trees are on the edge of turning and when you step inside the Castle the smell of the fires welcomes you. For Alice and Daniel September is also a pretty special month as it’s also the month they first met (at Glasgow University fresher’s week).
Beverley and Mark’s Drumtochty Castle wedding was personal and perfect from beginning to end. They had all their favourite people involved (from Stepdad Ross and his brother Charlie conducting the service through to friends playing the organ). Oh and one of the best surprises had to be Mark’s family serenading this pair (we will always think of you when we hear the song Alleluia )
