To describe Nic and Ian’s glorious garden wedding would any many ways be like describing the perfect day: a chilled start to the morning; spot of make-up for the girls (with tea and fresh scones thrown in) then get a little bit glam ready for a super meaningful and personal wedding ceremony. This was a genuinely happy day filled with family, fun and the most perfectly-timed barks from Holly at key moments.
They say never work with children and animals. We say work with both – regularly – as they both make the party happen.
Highlights for these two (and us) were wandering off to do photos in the grounds of Prestonfield House and the speeches which even featured a real live Dr Who. Yes – for real. Inspired!
The sun shone throughout bringing the summer vibes (accompanied by Chris on the piano) all the way.
This was a wedding we wouldn’t have wanted to miss and we’re so glad we didn’t have to. Thank you Nicola and Ian.

Katie and Michael’s Mansfield Traquair wedding was all about enjoying every single minute. Which was pretty easy as literally this pair walk into a room and bring the party.
Dundas Castle is always magical at the start of autumn. The trees are on the edge of turning and when you step inside the Castle the smell of the fires welcomes you. For Alice and Daniel September is also a pretty special month as it’s also the month they first met (at Glasgow University fresher’s week).
Beverley and Mark’s Drumtochty Castle wedding was personal and perfect from beginning to end. They had all their favourite people involved (from Stepdad Ross and his brother Charlie conducting the service through to friends playing the organ). Oh and one of the best surprises had to be Mark’s family serenading this pair (we will always think of you when we hear the song Alleluia )
