Louise & Neil, 26th September 2015
Oh my word…where to start with the wonderful story of Louise and Neil?
It takes a special kind of couple to hop across the Atlantic for just 24 hours to start planing their wedding – but Lou and Neil are just those kind of special people.
From that very first meeting, followed by their stunning sun kissed engagement shoot (which they again pretty much flew over from NY to Edinburgh for), through to their epic wedding we have loved hanging out with these two.
Mr and Mrs Champ we have so many favourite parts to your day – your first look will remain with us for a long, long time – we can still hear your dress swisshing up the beauty of the Signet Library and remember the raw emotion and love between you. The look you created with the team from Mansfield and Planet Flowers was jaw-dropping…
We could go on, but from here on, we’ll let the pictures do the talking.
Enjoy this taster of the day #NeilAndLouSayIDo…

Melville Castle has always had a special place in our hearts as it’s one of the first castles we ever photographed a wedding at. Combine that with one of the most incredible couples and you have the stuff of unstoppable wedding magic. Megan and Jonathan’s story is one of long-lasting friendship followed by falling in love. As they’ve grown up together they are a pair steeped in love and support for each other and that is so evident to anyone who knows them.
Drumtochty Castle weddings in autumn are simply magical. Andrea and Mike planned theirs to perfection – with the sage greens and golds and oranges of the flowers creating a warmth within the castle as well as outwith.
Getting to know these two as been a lot of fun. They make a top team and have a similar wonderful sense of humour. Highlights from their day include Andrea’s walk down the aisle, the emotional readings, the quaich ceremony (led by Uncle John), the speeches (Andrea’s killer line announcing “Mike I have made you a better person” had the room in stitches). And of course the most brilliant first dance.
Laura and Calum’s wedding was always going to be a day filled with smiles a-plenty and the kind of party atmosphere that fills Mansfield to its rooftops. It was such a privilege to photograph this wedding as it feels like we’ve known Laura forever and meeting Calum and little Rae has been a delight.
Words these two would use to sum up their wedding are sentimental, sincere and silly… it was a day jam-packed with friends, family, fun and a wee dram or two of Fluffylump.
