Lynne & Chris’ Wedding, Polwarth Parish Church, followed by Orocco Pier, South Queensferry

We’ve had the privilege of knowing Lynne for a good number of years in her professional life (and we’ve been to one or two weddings together). When were invited to be her wedding photographers, we were just so delighted… Lynne is  the most warm, genuine person and Chris is equally lovely. Together they make a top team.

We knew that this wedding would be super-organised given Lynne’s job and it was in every way… and yet it was so wonderfully relaxed at the same time. Lynne is one of the few brides that was actually was so early for her wedding that the chauffeur had to stop for a few minutes by the side of the road so she wasn’t too early – love that…

Chris is normally not far away from his own camera so it was great for hime to be on the other side… and he and Lynne were just brilliant to photograph.

Thanks Mr and Mrs D for letting us tell the story of your wedding. There were oodles of special moments from your wedding… here are a few for now. Can’t wait to show you the rest.

See you soon,

A&N

In the morning, the boys started their day with a hot shave at The Players Lounge in Edinburgh…

While the girls enjoyed their own chilling out and pampering…

Real Life Wedding: Hopetoun House

25 May 2024

Hopetoun House is magical pretty much most days. But the day of Nic and Oli’s wedding it seemed to have an extra layer of something. Perhaps it was the weather (impeccably behaved for once), or the sweet sound of laughter on the breeze, or just the general vibe of all things extraordinarily perfect…

Real Life Wedding: Dunglass Estate

06 April 2024

Alex and Molly are the kind of people who embrace life and all it throws at them. Including what we can only be described as the windiest wedding I think we’ve ever been at (think winds of 50 mph – enough to take out huge stone planters) And the result was a wedding day that was even more magical that anyone could have imagined.

Real Life Wedding: Drumtochty Castle

03 April 2024

Their spring wedding was beautiful in spite of the rain (think one of the wettest days ever). Actually it was a little more beautiful because of the rain. As family and friends dashed for cover under mutlicloured brollies there were smile, giggles and lot of togetherness. And what could be better than cosying up in Drumtochty Castle as the wood burners crackle?
