Lauren & Stephen’s Wedding St Salvator’s Chapel, followed by Lower and Upper College Halls, University of St Andrews

It’s been great getting to know Lauren and Stephen as they celebrated their wedding in St Andrews earlier this month. They compliment each other perfectly and their wedding day was every bit as fun and relaxed as they’d planned.

Lauren you looked stunning and I still smile at thinking of flowergirl Kirsten’s comment as she saw you in your dress “I think Stephen will say yes”. Stephen, you did of course! And we were loving your speech – fab!

Thanks for being great fun to photograph and for being so up for pottering on down to the west sands. Only in St Andrews would you be offered lobster and beer!

For now, here’s a few highlights – excited to be catching up with you in the coming weeks!

Real Life Wedding: Hopetoun House

25 May 2024

Hopetoun House is magical pretty much most days. But the day of Nic and Oli’s wedding it seemed to have an extra layer of something. Perhaps it was the weather (impeccably behaved for once), or the sweet sound of laughter on the breeze, or just the general vibe of all things extraordinarily perfect…

Real Life Wedding: Dunglass Estate

06 April 2024

Alex and Molly are the kind of people who embrace life and all it throws at them. Including what we can only be described as the windiest wedding I think we’ve ever been at (think winds of 50 mph – enough to take out huge stone planters) And the result was a wedding day that was even more magical that anyone could have imagined.

Real Life Wedding: Drumtochty Castle

03 April 2024

Their spring wedding was beautiful in spite of the rain (think one of the wettest days ever). Actually it was a little more beautiful because of the rain. As family and friends dashed for cover under mutlicloured brollies there were smile, giggles and lot of togetherness. And what could be better than cosying up in Drumtochty Castle as the wood burners crackle?
