Karen & Mark

Edinburgh Castle & The Balmoral Hotel, Edinburgh

Be prepared to swoon more than a little over Karen and Mark’s wedding… It was so wonderfully special and personal and we were made to feel part of their family from beginning to end.

It was a day they’d planned to perfection – from an intimate ceremony in St Margaret’s Chapel at Edinburgh Castle, through to afternoon tea at The Balmoral Hotel. Karen designed her own wedding dress (don’t you just love the heart on the back?) and together they planned all the details.

Thank you Mr and Mrs Pybis for letting us be part of your wedding – we have loved getting to know you. Can’t wait to catch-up and see all your photographs from your honeymoon… in the meantime, here are some of your photographs from your wedding day. Enjoy!

Real Life Wedding: Hopetoun House

25 May 2024

Hopetoun House is magical pretty much most days. But the day of Nic and Oli’s wedding it seemed to have an extra layer of something. Perhaps it was the weather (impeccably behaved for once), or the sweet sound of laughter on the breeze, or just the general vibe of all things extraordinarily perfect…

Real Life Wedding: Dunglass Estate

06 April 2024

Alex and Molly are the kind of people who embrace life and all it throws at them. Including what we can only be described as the windiest wedding I think we’ve ever been at (think winds of 50 mph – enough to take out huge stone planters) And the result was a wedding day that was even more magical that anyone could have imagined.

Real Life Wedding: Drumtochty Castle

03 April 2024

Their spring wedding was beautiful in spite of the rain (think one of the wettest days ever). Actually it was a little more beautiful because of the rain. As family and friends dashed for cover under mutlicloured brollies there were smile, giggles and lot of togetherness. And what could be better than cosying up in Drumtochty Castle as the wood burners crackle?
