This is the story of what happened when South Africa met Scotland at Dundas Castle – the story of Jackie and Barry’s wedding.
It was the most gorgeous afternoon (exactly as Barry predicted) and everything came together perfectly as per Jackie’s vision with a little bit of help from Planet Flowers and 88 events.
Jackie and Barry just compliment each other so well. Jackie’s sister described it as the perfect match of “Jackie’s crazy, caring and fiery passion and Barry’s strepsol approach to life.” Love that!
There is so much love between them and their family and friends and their wedding day was a celebration of their marriage and of all those who mean so much to them.
Mr and Mrs Campbell thank you for letting us join you for your fantastic wedding party. We had a ball and we loved getting to know you and your guests.

Jackie and Barry had a vintage bus bring their guests to the Castle. What a great way to travel…
This shot just makes me smile. The girls had lots of fun gently steaming the dresses… and Stuart from Cherry Tree Films was particularly helpful…
Jackie’s Grandfather walked her down the aisle – so special…
We just loved the design and styling of the Escort Table – super-elegant…
The Pavillion at Dundas Castle looked so chic with the whites and pale pinks. Jackie’s soft vintage theme was lovely…
Katie and Michael’s Mansfield Traquair wedding was all about enjoying every single minute. Which was pretty easy as literally this pair walk into a room and bring the party.
Dundas Castle is always magical at the start of autumn. The trees are on the edge of turning and when you step inside the Castle the smell of the fires welcomes you. For Alice and Daniel September is also a pretty special month as it’s also the month they first met (at Glasgow University fresher’s week).
Beverley and Mark’s Drumtochty Castle wedding was personal and perfect from beginning to end. They had all their favourite people involved (from Stepdad Ross and his brother Charlie conducting the service through to friends playing the organ). Oh and one of the best surprises had to be Mark’s family serenading this pair (we will always think of you when we hear the song Alleluia )
Your photo’s are absolutely stunning and may you always have the passion and love for one another as on your wedding day <3
