Irene & Gordon’s Wedding, Hopetoun House, South Queensferry

We love it when our couples come from the other side of the world to get married in Scotland. And for Irene and Gordon’s wedding their family and friends had travelled from all over the world. It was a case of Scotland meets Canada meets Australia… and what a party it was.

Mr and Mrs Carlyle thank you for letting us be a part of your fantastic Scottish wedding. It was fun from beginning to end and we loved how much everyone threw themselves into ceilidh dancing. There were some pretty fantastic moves on the dance floor.

Here is a taster from your wedding day. Enjoy lots and lots,

A&N xx

Real Life Wedding: Hopetoun House

25 May 2024

Hopetoun House is magical pretty much most days. But the day of Nic and Oli’s wedding it seemed to have an extra layer of something. Perhaps it was the weather (impeccably behaved for once), or the sweet sound of laughter on the breeze, or just the general vibe of all things extraordinarily perfect…

Real Life Wedding: Dunglass Estate

06 April 2024

Alex and Molly are the kind of people who embrace life and all it throws at them. Including what we can only be described as the windiest wedding I think we’ve ever been at (think winds of 50 mph – enough to take out huge stone planters) And the result was a wedding day that was even more magical that anyone could have imagined.

Real Life Wedding: Drumtochty Castle

03 April 2024

Their spring wedding was beautiful in spite of the rain (think one of the wettest days ever). Actually it was a little more beautiful because of the rain. As family and friends dashed for cover under mutlicloured brollies there were smile, giggles and lot of togetherness. And what could be better than cosying up in Drumtochty Castle as the wood burners crackle?
