Real Life Scottish wedding: Mannofield Church, followed by Elsick House, Aberdeenshire

Catrin & David

Perfectly Planned

There has to be something even more special about a wedding day that has been re-scheduled several times. We love how, despite the plans having changed lots throughout the last few months, the one thing Catrin and David were sure about was that they want to get married.

And in the end I’m not sure you could have planned a more perfect day. Even the weather played its best hand. And Elsick House looked simply stunning in all its colours.

Catrin and David we love your positivity, resilience and humour throughout all (five!) wedding day iterations and we’re so thrilled that you two got married in 2020. A claim that not that many can actually make!

Here’a glimpse of the magic that was your day…

Katie and Michael’s  Mansfield Traquair wedding was all about enjoying every single minute. Which was pretty easy as literally this pair walk into a room and bring the party.

Real Life Wedding: Dundas Castle

14 September 2024

Dundas Castle is always magical at the start of autumn. The trees are on the edge of turning and when you step inside the Castle the smell of the fires welcomes you. For Alice and Daniel September is also a pretty special month as it’s also the month they first met (at Glasgow University fresher’s week).

Real Life Wedding: Drumtochty Castle

17 August 2024

Beverley and Mark’s Drumtochty Castle wedding was personal and perfect from beginning to end. They had all their favourite people involved (from Stepdad Ross and his brother Charlie conducting the service through to friends playing the organ). Oh and one of the best surprises had to be Mark’s family serenading this pair (we will always think of you when we hear the song Alleluia )
