My Soulmate; My Superstate

Cherry & Danny

Edinburgh Castle

It was the mistiest of days and that just added to the romance of Cherry and Danny’s wedding. Everything about their day was geared around a relaxed family celebration. The kids were as important as the adults and the love was so so evident.

I’m not sure which bit we loved the most: wandering around the castle in the mist with these two, Niels being covered in petals as he photographed the family groups, or the fun of the helium animals. All-in-all it was the kind of party where everyone was made to feel at home and no one wanted to leave.

Cherry and Danny you and your gorgeous kids just make us smile lots. You are the most genuine, warm people and you made us feel like part of your extended family. Here are some of our favourite memories from your wedding story.

Big Blue Sky love,

A&N xx

Real Life Wedding: Hopetoun House

25 May 2024

Hopetoun House is magical pretty much most days. But the day of Nic and Oli’s wedding it seemed to have an extra layer of something. Perhaps it was the weather (impeccably behaved for once), or the sweet sound of laughter on the breeze, or just the general vibe of all things extraordinarily perfect…

Real Life Wedding: Dunglass Estate

06 April 2024

Alex and Molly are the kind of people who embrace life and all it throws at them. Including what we can only be described as the windiest wedding I think we’ve ever been at (think winds of 50 mph – enough to take out huge stone planters) And the result was a wedding day that was even more magical that anyone could have imagined.

Real Life Wedding: Drumtochty Castle

03 April 2024

Their spring wedding was beautiful in spite of the rain (think one of the wettest days ever). Actually it was a little more beautiful because of the rain. As family and friends dashed for cover under mutlicloured brollies there were smile, giggles and lot of togetherness. And what could be better than cosying up in Drumtochty Castle as the wood burners crackle?
