This was our first visit to Dunglass Estate and we were blown away in more ways than one..
Alex and Molly are the kind of people who embrace life and all it throws at them. Including what we can only be described as the windiest wedding I think we’ve ever been at (think winds of 50 mph – enough to take out huge stone planters) And the result was a wedding day that was even more magical that anyone could have imagined.
Molly is the kind of girl who refuses to take herself too seriously. With Alex by her side she literally laughed in the face of the wind and we love her all the more for it.
Thank you Mr and Mrs Pugh for being wedding rockstars from beginning to end. Being your photographers was so much fun and a day we will never forget. Not only are you two clearly made for each other, but you’ve also somehow managed to curate the most incredible group of friends and family. We loved them all!
It makes us smile that one of your highlights was hanging out in the wall garden (where we all had to shout like crazy people over the wind to hear each other) Let’s just not mention the bit where Niels got the minibus grounded in the mud (shhh!)
Here’s a little teaser for you,
#BigBlueSkyLove,
Alie & Niels xx
Dunglass Estate literally has it all: stunning steading refurbishment, chapel in the grounds, houses for your guests, views of the sea, lots of sheep, a walled garden… not to mention acres of grounds to get yourselves lost in (good to know – the team are on hand with a fleet of vehicles so you’re always well looked after)
It’s the kind of place that will make you feel as though you’ve left city life far behind you, but with the comfort that it’s super easy for your guests to get to.
You should also know that the team are terrific so however you want your wedding or celebration to come to life you’ll know that they’ve got your back.

Katie and Michael’s Mansfield Traquair wedding was all about enjoying every single minute. Which was pretty easy as literally this pair walk into a room and bring the party.
Dundas Castle is always magical at the start of autumn. The trees are on the edge of turning and when you step inside the Castle the smell of the fires welcomes you. For Alice and Daniel September is also a pretty special month as it’s also the month they first met (at Glasgow University fresher’s week).
Beverley and Mark’s Drumtochty Castle wedding was personal and perfect from beginning to end. They had all their favourite people involved (from Stepdad Ross and his brother Charlie conducting the service through to friends playing the organ). Oh and one of the best surprises had to be Mark’s family serenading this pair (we will always think of you when we hear the song Alleluia )
