Dundas Castle was the dream destination wedding venue for Michelle and Ryan. They brought all of their favourite people with them to celebrate. Michelle had her besties by her side (huge shout out to Jess and Joe who were the dream team). Ryan (the second) was friend and celebrant and everyone made sure Michelle and Ryan had the time of their lives. To be fair it would have been hard not to. DFrom their first look, through to the epic fireworks, this was a day when even the Scottish weather smiled.
Just putting it out there – this pair are two of the most wonderfully warm, funny humans you’ll ever meet. Clearly their friends and family adore them. Oh and Llamas talk to them – so that definitely deserves some kudos.
Thank you Michelle and Ryan for being so much fun to get to know and to hang out with… we hope you’re going to plan plenty more trips to Edinburgh.
Here’s some of the highlights of a day that was one big highlight from beginning to end.

Dundas Castle weddings are pretty special. If you’re thinking of holding your event there, or fancy taking an online tour have a look at their website. What you won’t be able to see is how incredible the team are (trust us as we’ve worked with them lots over the years and they are all superb).

Katie and Michael’s Mansfield Traquair wedding was all about enjoying every single minute. Which was pretty easy as literally this pair walk into a room and bring the party.
Dundas Castle is always magical at the start of autumn. The trees are on the edge of turning and when you step inside the Castle the smell of the fires welcomes you. For Alice and Daniel September is also a pretty special month as it’s also the month they first met (at Glasgow University fresher’s week).
Beverley and Mark’s Drumtochty Castle wedding was personal and perfect from beginning to end. They had all their favourite people involved (from Stepdad Ross and his brother Charlie conducting the service through to friends playing the organ). Oh and one of the best surprises had to be Mark’s family serenading this pair (we will always think of you when we hear the song Alleluia )
