Dundas Castle is literally the perfect spot for a Scottish house party wedding. These two brought with them their family and friends for a magical wedding. Steeped in ancient Celtic tradition and featuring not one but two owls, it was a day filled with the kind of love you know is going to last.
Highlights for us included their first look, their pinky holding (because at high school where they met they weren’t allowed to hold hands) and hanging out on top of the old keep at Dundas in the midst of mist and rain and this pair loving every moment.
Thank you both for letting us be your wedding photographers so we could tell the next part of your story.
Hope the rest of your Scottish adventures were as wonderful.
#BigBlueSkyLove,
Alie & Niels xx
Dundas Castle weddings are pretty special. If you’re thinking of holding your event there, or fancy taking an online tour have a look at their website. What you won’t be able to see is how incredible the team are (trust us as we’ve worked with them lots over the years and they are all superb).

Just putting it out there – Michelle and Ryan are two of the most wonderfully warm, funny humans you’ll every meet. Clearly their friends and family adore them. Oh and Llamas talk to them – so that definitely deserves some kudos.
Thinking back to our first meeting with Katie and David (which was also at Dundas Castle) one of the things we loved most about this pair was how much they laughed and smiled together. And it was exactly the same on their wedding day… from walking through their avalanche of confetti to holding tight to each other on the top of a very windy roof of Dundas, these two are for each other. Every step of the way.
Beth and Chris’ wedding at The Signet Library was a day all about celebrating with their favourite people
From the minute we jumped on a call with this pair we knew their easy-going nature was going to result in day that was designed with their guests in mind.
