Dundas Castle is pretty most days of the week, but bathed in the kind of golden sun as it was for Jenny and Colin’s wedding, it’s the stuff of Scottish fairytales.
Jenny and Colin waited a whole 687 days for their wedding and every single part of their day was filled with the kind of joy and excitement that waiting for something really special brings.
Telling the story of their wedding was a job that didn’t really feel like work – more like hanging out with really good pals. Family and friends were involved in every part: Willie’s personalised ceremony, Patrick’s Piping., Lewis on piano and Uncle Finlay’s personalised grace to name but a few. Although star of the show award really does go to Lachlan in his tartan romper suit.
Thank you Mr and Mrs Rae for embracing every part of your wedding day… from tackling rogue veils to being up for climbing the many steps of the old keep post dinner and dancing in that golden sun. You are a brilliant team and we know will have many incredible adventures together.
Here’s a taste of your wedding adventure. We think you nailed it,
#BigBlueSkyLove,
Alie & Niels xx

Katie and Michael’s Mansfield Traquair wedding was all about enjoying every single minute. Which was pretty easy as literally this pair walk into a room and bring the party.
Dundas Castle is always magical at the start of autumn. The trees are on the edge of turning and when you step inside the Castle the smell of the fires welcomes you. For Alice and Daniel September is also a pretty special month as it’s also the month they first met (at Glasgow University fresher’s week).
Beverley and Mark’s Drumtochty Castle wedding was personal and perfect from beginning to end. They had all their favourite people involved (from Stepdad Ross and his brother Charlie conducting the service through to friends playing the organ). Oh and one of the best surprises had to be Mark’s family serenading this pair (we will always think of you when we hear the song Alleluia )
