Dundas Castle is a the kind of castle of Scottish dreams. For Heather and James it was literally the place where dreams came true, especially after one or two re-scheduled dates.
The vision this pair had was of a relaxed yet crazy wedding and we can confirm that it was the perfect blend of both. Words that they use to describe their day are magical, romantic, joyous, effervescent, over the top and unique.
Heather and James we’ve loved getting to know you. We love that you don’t take yourselves too seriously. We love that family are your top priority. We love that you were up for climbing towers and chasing llamas (in a perfectly controlled manner of course). Above all we love that you picked us to be your wedding photographers.
Enjoy your highlights and come back to Scotland soon!

“I promise, to weave my dreams
into your own. That wherever you breathe shall
be my heart’s home.I promise, that whether with
rags or with gold I am blessed,Your smile is the jewel I shall
treasure the best.Do you think then, my love,
we should marry, do you?”“Yes,” she said smiling
“I do.”

Hopetoun House is magical pretty much most days. But the day of Nic and Oli’s wedding it seemed to have an extra layer of something. Perhaps it was the weather (impeccably behaved for once), or the sweet sound of laughter on the breeze, or just the general vibe of all things extraordinarily perfect…
Alex and Molly are the kind of people who embrace life and all it throws at them. Including what we can only be described as the windiest wedding I think we’ve ever been at (think winds of 50 mph – enough to take out huge stone planters) And the result was a wedding day that was even more magical that anyone could have imagined.
Their spring wedding was beautiful in spite of the rain (think one of the wettest days ever). Actually it was a little more beautiful because of the rain. As family and friends dashed for cover under mutlicloured brollies there were smile, giggles and lot of togetherness. And what could be better than cosying up in Drumtochty Castle as the wood burners crackle?
