Dundas Castle makes for a pretty fabulous destination wedding location. And the wedding of Katrina and James was, in their own words “a dream come true”
We loved all of their personal touches – this was a wedding where family and friends were involved in every single part and the emotion was incredible. Even Grandma Donna was part of the day as Katrina had carefully added her lace into her own wedding dress.
A major highlight for this pair was the moment the saw each other at the top of the aisle. With Koen on violin there were few dry eyes in the house. We also love that Katrina was blown away by how handsome James was (even better than the model she chose the kilt from ????)
For us, one of the most incredible parts of the day was the vows Katrina and James made to their kids during their ceremony. So. Special.
Thank you Mr and Mrs Risk for letting us be part of your epic Scottish wedding. Made all the more special by waiting a little longer than planned. It was sooo worth it and those Scottish Risks definitely know how to make a party a party!

Dundas Castle weddings are in a league of their own. Take a peak at their website for more info (including a tour). What you won’t see from their website is how incredible the team are (trust us as we’ve worked with them lots over the years and they are all superb).

Katie and Michael’s Mansfield Traquair wedding was all about enjoying every single minute. Which was pretty easy as literally this pair walk into a room and bring the party.
Dundas Castle is always magical at the start of autumn. The trees are on the edge of turning and when you step inside the Castle the smell of the fires welcomes you. For Alice and Daniel September is also a pretty special month as it’s also the month they first met (at Glasgow University fresher’s week).
Beverley and Mark’s Drumtochty Castle wedding was personal and perfect from beginning to end. They had all their favourite people involved (from Stepdad Ross and his brother Charlie conducting the service through to friends playing the organ). Oh and one of the best surprises had to be Mark’s family serenading this pair (we will always think of you when we hear the song Alleluia )
Thank You for doing such a great job of hosting my Brother and Sister in Laws huge day !!!
