Real Life Scottish Wedding: Drumtochty Castle

Vicky & Chris

Warm hearts, cold toes

Drumtochty Castle is a fab spot to get married at any time of year, and in winter the Castle really comes into its own with its cosy inside spaces and open fires. Vicky and Chris’ wedding was just before Christmas so had everyone in the holiday mode.

Vicky and Chris are the kind of couple you’d love to call your friends. Together, they tackle life with so much enthusiasm and massive care for others – it’s hugely infectious.

Us: “How do you fancy climbing a hill in the freezing cold, so cold that you can’t feel your toes?”

Vicky & Chris (without hesitation): “Let’s do it!”

Mr and Mrs Peake we were delighted to be part of your wedding; you make us smile lots and with your natural optimism, and adventurous spirit, something tells us married life is going to be a whole lot of fun.

Enjoy highlights of a wedding day that was one big highlight for us,

#BigBlueSkyLove,

Niels, Alie & Sarah xxx

Real Life Wedding: Dundas Castle

14 September 2024

Dundas Castle is always magical at the start of autumn. The trees are on the edge of turning and when you step inside the Castle the smell of the fires welcomes you. For Alice and Daniel September is also a pretty special month as it’s also the month they first met (at Glasgow University fresher’s week).

Real Life Wedding: Drumtochty Castle

17 August 2024

Beverley and Mark’s Drumtochty Castle wedding was personal and perfect from beginning to end. They had all their favourite people involved (from Stepdad Ross and his brother Charlie conducting the service through to friends playing the organ). Oh and one of the best surprises had to be Mark’s family serenading this pair (we will always think of you when we hear the song Alleluia )
