Real Life Scottish wedding: Crossbasket Castle, Glasgow

Vicky & David

Summer wedding bliss

From the minute Vicky’s first email popped in we were super excited to be part of this wedding. Already knowing some of the family and bridal party is always a bonus (especially when they’re us good fun as this crew) and from all this pair told us, this was a day that was going to be all about family and friends.

From Granny and her sisters to the youngest flowergirl everyone was made to feel part of the day. #Stark2Doig was quite literally the perfect summer’s wedding – the weather, the vibe, the emotion and the fun! Trust us, you’d have loved to have been a guest.

Vicky and David you two are such a fantastic team and we’re over-the-moon that we were able to tell this part of your story.

Here’s a snippet for now… enjoy

Big Blue Sky love,

Thanks Marisa. Vicky’s amazing wedding gown is by Pronovias and was from Ivory Pinks in Bothwell. Hope this helps!

Real Life Wedding: Hopetoun House

25 May 2024

Hopetoun House is magical pretty much most days. But the day of Nic and Oli’s wedding it seemed to have an extra layer of something. Perhaps it was the weather (impeccably behaved for once), or the sweet sound of laughter on the breeze, or just the general vibe of all things extraordinarily perfect…

Real Life Wedding: Dunglass Estate

06 April 2024

Alex and Molly are the kind of people who embrace life and all it throws at them. Including what we can only be described as the windiest wedding I think we’ve ever been at (think winds of 50 mph – enough to take out huge stone planters) And the result was a wedding day that was even more magical that anyone could have imagined.

Real Life Wedding: Drumtochty Castle

03 April 2024

Their spring wedding was beautiful in spite of the rain (think one of the wettest days ever). Actually it was a little more beautiful because of the rain. As family and friends dashed for cover under mutlicloured brollies there were smile, giggles and lot of togetherness. And what could be better than cosying up in Drumtochty Castle as the wood burners crackle?
