Real Life Wedding: Crear, Tarbert

Lynsey & Dirk

Real Life Wedding: Crear, Tarbert

Crear, a white house, with a red roof, perched on a hill with glass windows and views like no other, is a little bit of Scottish magic. Nestled on the far west coast of Scotland, with direct views across to the isles of Islay, Jura & Gigha, it’s a landscape that will take your breath away every time.

And for Lynsey and Dirk’s wedding the weather was on its best behaviour, giving us glorious blue skies for exploring the nearby beach and then an epic sunset at the end of the day.

Thank you Mr and Mrs Van Rooyen for inviting us to be part of your wedding. We loved everything about it and are so excited to share your wedding story as we saw it. For now, here’s a glimpse.

#BigBlueSkyLove,

Alie & Niels xx

Real Life Wedding: Hopetoun House

25 May 2024

Hopetoun House is magical pretty much most days. But the day of Nic and Oli’s wedding it seemed to have an extra layer of something. Perhaps it was the weather (impeccably behaved for once), or the sweet sound of laughter on the breeze, or just the general vibe of all things extraordinarily perfect…

Real Life Wedding: Dunglass Estate

06 April 2024

Alex and Molly are the kind of people who embrace life and all it throws at them. Including what we can only be described as the windiest wedding I think we’ve ever been at (think winds of 50 mph – enough to take out huge stone planters) And the result was a wedding day that was even more magical that anyone could have imagined.

Real Life Wedding: Drumtochty Castle

03 April 2024

Their spring wedding was beautiful in spite of the rain (think one of the wettest days ever). Actually it was a little more beautiful because of the rain. As family and friends dashed for cover under mutlicloured brollies there were smile, giggles and lot of togetherness. And what could be better than cosying up in Drumtochty Castle as the wood burners crackle?
