Claire & Richard’s Wedding, Duddingston Kirk, followed by The Scotsman Hotel, Edinburgh

There is something very wonderful about winter weddings and every November we remember just how special they are and how much we love them.

Claire and Richard’s wedding was so so well styled and planned that it just all came together beautifully. We adored Claire’s look… with her stunning dress designed by Mette from Freja Fashion and her gorgeous fascinator from Joyce Paton. Claire you wowed everyone… Richard – you looked pretty hot too!

Claire and Richard we were really stoked to be part of your wedding and we loved your approach to your photography. It just made us smile – again and again…Thanks for being so fab to work with – we had so much fun! It’s so obvious how perfectly you two fit together.

Hope you’re having an amazing time on honeymoon. Just wait ’til you get back to the temperatures of Edinburgh. We’re guessing it’s a notch or two chillier than the Maldives?!

Here our some of our highlights. Looking forward to catching up soon,

Claire has such attention to detail… even down to personalising the stem of her bouquet. Loved it!

Meanwhile, Niels was catching-up with the boys at the other side of town and they even managed to drop into the iconic Sheep Heid Inn before arriving at Duddingston Kirk.

The Scotsman Hotel was a lovely cosy retreat as the daylight began to fade and all the candles and details Claire had planned worked so well. The atmosphere was spot on.

Real Life Wedding: St Michael’s Linlithgow, followed by Dundas Castle

27 September 2025

From our very first meeting with Catherine and Alex, when they told us about their Dundas Castle wedding, we were grinning from ear to ear. These two are warm, easy going and love each other to bits. The way they speak about their family and friends made it clear that this wedding was going to be a blast from beginning to end.

Real Life Wedding: Seamill Hydro

19 September 2025

The Seamill Hydro is one of those wedding venues where you feel like you’ve escaped for the weekend. For Kirsty and Ross their wedding was all about ’emotional hilarity’ which is a phrase we understand completely. These two chose marriage because they love each other to bits and they wanted to share that with their family and friends (who they are super close to). But also life is too short not to have an absolute blast whenever you get the opportunity so why let your wedding day be anything less that 100% fun?

Real Life Wedding: Drumsheugh Gardens and Noto, Edinburgh

18 September 2025

Cori and Ian’s wedding was  magical. From their ceremony (a private garden in the heart of Edinburgh’s new town)  to their party (dinner at their favourite restaurant with their closest family and friends) it was a dream. Add to that a moment set aside for their firstlook and quality time spent in the gardens sipping champagne, hanging out with their favourites and even walking with their daughter little P and first born four legged Finn.
