Wow! Following the energetic morning, Claire and Nicholas shed the lycra and had themselves a wedding. And what a wedding it was…
The ceremony was filled with so many personal touches and words straight from the heart. Although I think my favourite bit was when Claire realised that the wedding ring she’d chosen had been ‘upgraded’ by her husband-to-be to have one or two more diamonds… (and that was as he popped it on her finger!)
The thing about Claire and Nicholas is that they just love having fun and it’s totally infectious. And they totally love each other. And they totally love cake.
Here are some of our highlights from your truly rocking wedding day.
Enjoy! Really looking forward to catching-up soon.
This time, we’re doing the cake!

P.S. How gorgeous is Claire’s dress? The fabulously talented Mette at Freja Designer Dressmaking did a little bit of tweaking here and there helping to create Claire’s stunning look.
Love Claire’s realisation that her wedding ring has a few more sparkles on than the one she thought she was getting. Nicholas – you did indeed buy diamonds!
Claire is known for being something of a speed-demon so when they mentioned getting a shot with the golf buggies…. well it just had to be done!
We love doing evening shoots with our brides and grooms – especially when the evening light is so gorgeous. But space-hopping into the sunset? Now that’s a first for us. It was soo much fun and look at the cracking shots… Mr and Mrs Beckett-Hunt you just make us smile. You two are ace!
Dundas Castle is always magical at the start of autumn. The trees are on the edge of turning and when you step inside the Castle the smell of the fires welcomes you. For Alice and Daniel September is also a pretty special month as it’s also the month they first met (at Glasgow University fresher’s week).
Beverley and Mark’s Drumtochty Castle wedding was personal and perfect from beginning to end. They had all their favourite people involved (from Stepdad Ross and his brother Charlie conducting the service through to friends playing the organ). Oh and one of the best surprises had to be Mark’s family serenading this pair (we will always think of you when we hear the song Alleluia )
Dundas Castle was dressed to impress for Sukanya and Mark’s wedding. But even more than that this pair brought the party. Their family and friends were genuine, kind and absolutely hilarious. From impromptu karaoke to dancing during the drinks reception, everyone threw themselves into the celebration.
Love everything! but especially the “spacehoppers” from all of us at @freja_fashion xx
Fab photos!!!! T Man says he thinks he looks particularly dashing!
We agree, although we think Mr B-H definitely outshone him on the day (sorry T Man!) Ax
