Childhood Sweethearts

Gillian & Lewis – 29th March 2014

This a tale of childhood romance… and for anyone who’s spent any time around Gillian and Lewis you’ll know what a great team they make.

The banter was flowing from beginning to end on their wedding and we loved it! It was one of those days when you just know the party is going to go on well on into the night…

Here’s a taster of your Castle house party G & L. Can’t wait to share the full story with you,

Alie & Niels xx

25 May 2024

Hopetoun House is magical pretty much most days. But the day of Nic and Oli’s wedding it seemed to have an extra layer of something. Perhaps it was the weather (impeccably behaved for once), or the sweet sound of laughter on the breeze, or just the general vibe of all things extraordinarily perfect…

Real Life Wedding: Dunglass Estate

06 April 2024

Alex and Molly are the kind of people who embrace life and all it throws at them. Including what we can only be described as the windiest wedding I think we’ve ever been at (think winds of 50 mph – enough to take out huge stone planters) And the result was a wedding day that was even more magical that anyone could have imagined.

Real Life Wedding: Drumtochty Castle

03 April 2024

Their spring wedding was beautiful in spite of the rain (think one of the wettest days ever). Actually it was a little more beautiful because of the rain. As family and friends dashed for cover under mutlicloured brollies there were smile, giggles and lot of togetherness. And what could be better than cosying up in Drumtochty Castle as the wood burners crackle?
