Carol & Arthur, Balbirnie House Hotel

It all started with a phone call. From Sydney.

Carol we’re soo glad you made that call. We wouldn’t have missed yours and Arthur’s wedding for the world.

From that very first conversation we just knew we were going to get on with Carol… and then we met Arthur – and everyone loves Arthur. You couldn’t not. Together they are so wonderfully matched. They just make us smile.

Carol and Arthur’s wedding at the lovely Balbirnie House in Fife was full of fun and lots of love. These two have a great collection of family and friends and the atmosphere was great… we loved that even Gran Melville was up dancing by the end of the night. She was rocking the dancefloor!

Great to work too with the awesome Planet Flowers and lovely Lucy from LG Makeup. What a top team!

Carol and Arth – hope the journey back to Australia was good. Delighted we got to see you briefly before you left. Here are some of our highlights (some of many) from your fab Scottish wedding. Enjoy them lots and keep in touch.

Thanks again for making that first phone call…

The ballroom at Balbirnie House Hotel looked fab… and yes there were even goldfish! Loved it.

Real Life Wedding: Hopetoun House

25 May 2024

Hopetoun House is magical pretty much most days. But the day of Nic and Oli’s wedding it seemed to have an extra layer of something. Perhaps it was the weather (impeccably behaved for once), or the sweet sound of laughter on the breeze, or just the general vibe of all things extraordinarily perfect…

Real Life Wedding: Dunglass Estate

Alex and Molly are the kind of people who embrace life and all it throws at them. Including what we can only be described as the windiest wedding I think we’ve ever been at (think winds of 50 mph – enough to take out huge stone planters) And the result was a wedding day that was even more magical that anyone could have imagined.

Real Life Wedding: Drumtochty Castle

03 April 2024

Their spring wedding was beautiful in spite of the rain (think one of the wettest days ever). Actually it was a little more beautiful because of the rain. As family and friends dashed for cover under mutlicloured brollies there were smile, giggles and lot of togetherness. And what could be better than cosying up in Drumtochty Castle as the wood burners crackle?
