Cara & Ross’ Wedding, St Mary’s Church Haddington, followed by Glenbervie House Hotel

Cara and Ross’ summer wedding was a fantastic summer wedding, which, in true Scottish-style meant it rained and rained. And then rained some more.

You know, it really didn’t matter how much it rained – Cara and Ross didn’t stop beaming throughout the whole day. They love each other to bits and clearly loved every moment of their wedding day.

And what a day it was. Everything was planned to perfection so that everyone had a great time. Cara and Ross’ family and friends are so important to them and played such a big part of their day. It made for one really special party.

Cara and Ross – thank you. We loved being with you and you were fantastic to photograph. Scroll for some of the many highlights of your big day.

Looking forward to catching-up soon for your post-wedding shoot. I think this time we’re hoping for a little less rain…!

Speak to you all very soon!

And then, after dinner, the rain eased a little and we ventured outside. We loved that Cara and Ross were so up for braving the elements.

Real Life Wedding: Hopetoun House

25 May 2024

Hopetoun House is magical pretty much most days. But the day of Nic and Oli’s wedding it seemed to have an extra layer of something. Perhaps it was the weather (impeccably behaved for once), or the sweet sound of laughter on the breeze, or just the general vibe of all things extraordinarily perfect…

Real Life Wedding: Dunglass Estate

06 April 2024

Alex and Molly are the kind of people who embrace life and all it throws at them. Including what we can only be described as the windiest wedding I think we’ve ever been at (think winds of 50 mph – enough to take out huge stone planters) And the result was a wedding day that was even more magical that anyone could have imagined.

Real Life Wedding: Drumtochty Castle

03 April 2024

Their spring wedding was beautiful in spite of the rain (think one of the wettest days ever). Actually it was a little more beautiful because of the rain. As family and friends dashed for cover under mutlicloured brollies there were smile, giggles and lot of togetherness. And what could be better than cosying up in Drumtochty Castle as the wood burners crackle?
