Real Life Scottish wedding: The Canongate Kirk and The Signet Library, Edinburgh

Camilla & Tim

Caledonia you’re calling me

Some weddings you just know are going to come together utterly perfectly. From the first conversation with Jennifer (aka wedding planner and first-rate Mother of the Bride), through to hanging out Camilla and Tim, as though we’d known them years,  it was so obvious that this wedding was all about lavishing love on much-cherished friends and family.

Yes it was a wedding filled with love and legacy… but importantly it was also an epic party with the most incredible bunch of buddies (check out that dancefloor at the Signet Library) .

Logistically,  Camilla and Tim’s wedding day also happened to also be the day in which half of Scotland descended on Edinburgh for various reasons (a Remain in the EU March, an Experience Krakow Festival and road closures caused by filming of Fast and Furious in Edinburgh to name but a few events). Some couples would freak about this but not these two, who quite naturally took it all in their stride.

Camilla and Tim we loved everything about your day… your styling was gloriously stylish and the fact your wedding was was bathed in perfect Edinburgh autumn sunshine made it all the more magical. We couldn’t think of a more perfect way to begin married life…

Thank you for letting us tell your wedding story.

#BigBlueSkyLove,

Alie & Niels and Ditte! xxx

Real Life Wedding: Hopetoun House

25 May 2024

Hopetoun House is magical pretty much most days. But the day of Nic and Oli’s wedding it seemed to have an extra layer of something. Perhaps it was the weather (impeccably behaved for once), or the sweet sound of laughter on the breeze, or just the general vibe of all things extraordinarily perfect…

Real Life Wedding: Dunglass Estate

06 April 2024

Alex and Molly are the kind of people who embrace life and all it throws at them. Including what we can only be described as the windiest wedding I think we’ve ever been at (think winds of 50 mph – enough to take out huge stone planters) And the result was a wedding day that was even more magical that anyone could have imagined.

Real Life Wedding: Drumtochty Castle

03 April 2024

Their spring wedding was beautiful in spite of the rain (think one of the wettest days ever). Actually it was a little more beautiful because of the rain. As family and friends dashed for cover under mutlicloured brollies there were smile, giggles and lot of togetherness. And what could be better than cosying up in Drumtochty Castle as the wood burners crackle?
