Real Life Wedding: The Balmoral Hotel

Michelle and John picked The Balmoral Hotel for their beautiful Edinburgh city centre wedding.

With guests travelling from all over the world it was the perfect spot for their celebration and the result was a day filled with love and so much emotion.

From their first look (on the roof no less); super personal vows; through to speeches, there were so many highlights. These two are clearly made for each other and every part of their day was designed with their guests in mind. The relaxed vibe was infectious.

Thank you Michelle and John for being so wonderfully you and for making our job so much fun. Here’s a teaser… excited to share all and start creating your wedding album.

#BigBlueSkyLove,

Alie & Niels xx

Real Life Wedding: Hopetoun House

25 May 2024

Hopetoun House is magical pretty much most days. But the day of Nic and Oli’s wedding it seemed to have an extra layer of something. Perhaps it was the weather (impeccably behaved for once), or the sweet sound of laughter on the breeze, or just the general vibe of all things extraordinarily perfect…

Real Life Wedding: Dunglass Estate

06 April 2024

Alex and Molly are the kind of people who embrace life and all it throws at them. Including what we can only be described as the windiest wedding I think we’ve ever been at (think winds of 50 mph – enough to take out huge stone planters) And the result was a wedding day that was even more magical that anyone could have imagined.

Real Life Wedding: Drumtochty Castle

03 April 2024

Their spring wedding was beautiful in spite of the rain (think one of the wettest days ever). Actually it was a little more beautiful because of the rain. As family and friends dashed for cover under mutlicloured brollies there were smile, giggles and lot of togetherness. And what could be better than cosying up in Drumtochty Castle as the wood burners crackle?
