The Balmoral Hotel is the perfect spot for an Edinburgh city centre wedding. With views like that (and dreamy sunsets) you literally feel you’re on top of the world. Being high above the iconic skyline as Edinburgh twinkled below felt like a real privilege.
Danielle and James’ wedding was a day of pure celebration and the love between family and friends was so evident throughout. From their walk down the aisle (which felt to them like floating on a cloud – isn’t that the best way to aisle-walk?) to their epic confetti line, these two enjoyed every single minute of their wedding.
Perfect day is really the only description for this magical autumn wedding that fits. It felt like all of the guests were really present in the moment and determined to have a good time. Exactly as it should be.
Danielle and James it was a real treat for us to be your wedding photographers. Thank you for letting us tell your story and for being such geniunely lovely humans.
We’re so excited to share all of your photographs with you…

Katie and Michael’s Mansfield Traquair wedding was all about enjoying every single minute. Which was pretty easy as literally this pair walk into a room and bring the party.
Dundas Castle is always magical at the start of autumn. The trees are on the edge of turning and when you step inside the Castle the smell of the fires welcomes you. For Alice and Daniel September is also a pretty special month as it’s also the month they first met (at Glasgow University fresher’s week).
Beverley and Mark’s Drumtochty Castle wedding was personal and perfect from beginning to end. They had all their favourite people involved (from Stepdad Ross and his brother Charlie conducting the service through to friends playing the organ). Oh and one of the best surprises had to be Mark’s family serenading this pair (we will always think of you when we hear the song Alleluia )
