This was the first time that Team Blue Sky had covered a wedding at the House for an Art Lover in Glasgow – and what a top day filled with love, laughter and lots of special moments…
Ailie and Alasdair your day had such a chilled, relaxed feel to it all, it was just such a top day!
Serious brownie points have to go to Alasdair for organising an amazing surprise for Ailie. It was literally like a scene from one of Ailie’s favourite films – Love Actually… A choir appeared at the top of the aislie singing “Love, love, love, love, love, love…All you need is love…” at the end of the ceremony – the look on Ailie’s face said it all – absolutely perfect!
And the rest of Ailie and Alasdair’s wedding had a real filmic feel… from Ailie’s gorgeous look through to the table settings, which were names of classic love films – lovely touch!
Big thanks to you two for letting us be a part of your fab wedding day. And for being lots of fun to hang-out with and photograph. Our job was a dream.
Ailie – hope the honeymoon expidition was immense and you managed to chill out afterwards. We’re looking forward to hearing all about it… and of course, to showing you all of your photographs.
Catch up with you soon! A&N
Dundas Castle was dressed to impress for Sukanya and Mark’s wedding. But even more than that this pair brought the party. Their family and friends were genuine, kind and absolutely hilarious. From impromptu karaoke to dancing during the drinks reception, everyone threw themselves into the celebration.
Vibrant, energetic and unforgettable…. all words that perfectly sum up Tasmin and David’s Dundas Castle wedding. This pair literally throw themselves into life and their wedding day was exactly the same. We love how they did things their way – including having flower grannies over flower girls. Genius!
The Balmoral Hotel’s afternoon teas are legendary, so what better way to celebrate your wedding than with an iconic afternoon tea with all your guests? Especially when everyone’s flown in from North America. Nora and Chris took it a step further and involved their guests in conducting the ceremony. Their guests acted as celebrant. It was perfect and so intimate and one or two tears were shed along the way.
