Being a Family Photographer

I often feel I’m given special access. Not because of entitlement, but because of trust. As a photographer a huge part of my job is getting to know people and I love that. In fact, I think that’s one of the main reasons I do what I do.

Photographing this little girl was not only meeting a new little person, but also a reunion with her lovely parents (two of the most genuine people you’ll ever meet).

Special access – it’s a family photographer’s privilege.
