Secret Proposal

We love it when a plan comes together.  Ross planned his proposal with so much precision that Laura had absolutely no idea. Arthur’s Seat is a special spot for these two, so choosing to propose on Calton Hill meant Arthur’s Seat was the backdrop.

Ross and I shared location so that I could be in the perfect spot (inconspicuously of course) Then I just had to wait…

Photographing a proposal is always nerve-racking as you are completely focused on the moment. It’s a big deal, and trust me when I say I hold my breath too for that moment when the question lands and the dawn of realisation hits. It’s always so emotional and so unbelievably special.

And the lovely added bonus?  A passing tourist who spotted what was happening caught the proposal on film and was able to airdrop it to Ross and Laura afterwards.

I love that I got to be part of this moment.
