New boutique opening: Rachel Scott Couture, Edinburgh

This lush new Rachel Scott boutique showcases an incredible range of colourful cocktails dresses, beautiful black tie gowns and the finest couture formalwear alongside handcrafted headwear and jewellery for any occasion (much of it made in-house by Rachel and the team).

Over these last twenty years Rachel has developed an enviable black book of designer labels including Vivienne Westwood (whose exclusive made-to-order collection will be available for the very first time in Scotland at Rachel Scott Couture) and celebrity favourite Suzanne Neville – again available for the first time in Scotland at this new store.

We were invited to shoot Rachel in this new store ahead of the official opening and launch on 1st February – there are few people with the dexterity of Rachel to climb up a ladder in killer green heels – but Rachel is one of those singularly awesome people.

Many of the designers now have a range of formalwear that can be customised and made to measure so it just made sense for Rachel and the team to open their new couture store in this new location where they will place their usual impeccable service and 1:1 appointments at the centre of this formalwear buying experience.
