Dundas Castle, one of our favourite wedding venues is on our Goosebump List (The Blue Sky Photography list of some of our favourite wedding venues). Dundas Castle is a dreamy, fairytale Scottish castle and family home, all but a short short hop and a skip from Edinburgh.
There are tons of reasons why we adore this place…. the space, the place and the team all go hand-in-hand and make Dundas Castle a place where fairytale weddings actually come to life.
You literally couldn’t pick a better wedding venue as the team have just scooped the coveted VOWS Award for Scottish Wedding Venue of the Year 2018. Whoop whoop!

From our very first meeting with Catherine and Alex, when they told us about their Dundas Castle wedding, we were grinning from ear to ear. These two are warm, easy going and love each other to bits. The way they speak about their family and friends made it clear that this wedding was going to be a blast from beginning to end.

Dundas Castle was the chosen destination for Katherine and BJ’s Scottish wedding. And it could not have been more perfect. From their first look to ceremony (with the legend that is Uncle John) leading, through to the party on the dancefloor, it was relaxed and so completely ‘them’.

Dundas Castle summer weddings are always more than a little magical. Georgia and Will’s was that and then some… Planet Flowers floristry art brought all the summer vibes and it was the kind of day when it felt rude not to be sipping champagne. Georgia and Will glided through their day with effortless ease and didn’t stop smiling. The thing about these two is that they are just so natural together. The way they lock hands or rest their heads together says everything.
