Last summer I had the delight of meeting the fantastic duo of Arianny and Kevin who came all the way to Edinburgh from New York for their babymoon.
I was recently reminded about this oh-so-amazing fashion shoot that we did with our great friends at Restoration Yard last year. It is too good not to share with you – we all need something blissful to enjoy and look forward to just now don’t we?
As you’ll guess, fashion shoots like this take coordination, planning and effort – but I totally believe that you get out what you put in. Take a look behind the scenes at our Restoration Yard fashion shoot.
Photographing a proposal is always nerve-racking as you are completely focused on the moment. It’s a big deal, and trust me when I say I hold my breath too for that moment when the question lands and the dawn of realisation hits. It’s always so emotional and so unbelievably special.

Meet Wilbur… and his family. If you’ve ever met a labradoodle puppy like Wilbur, the chances are you’ll have been more than a little smitten. I certainly was.
We love it when our families tell us how easy they found their photoshoot. As it should be; whether you’re planning for a full family group, or simply some updated photographs of the kids, our aim is to make the experience relaxed and natural, while capturing some fab images.
I know that we’ll soon be back shooting again in the studio; welcoming families, newborns and babies into our midst. I know that wedding celebrations will be that little bit more special. And I know that I’ll be shooting more products crated with passion, creativity and love from our tribe of business owners. I just don’t know when.
This week I was delighted this week to learn that I’d been awarded the Master Photographers Association Scottish Region Commercial and Industrial Photographer for 2020 (an award that I’ve also won before in 2018, 2017 and 2016 so it makes it extra special)
